This is healthy enough to eat for breakfast or enjoy as a way to get fruit into your family while they eat a tasty dessert!
What You Need
- Ripe bananas, if ripe enough, you need no other sweeteners
- Strawberries
- Crushed pineapple and juice
- Cocoa or cacao powder
- Vanilla extract
- Plain unsweetened non-dairy milk of your choice
How To Make in Your Ninja Creami
- Mash and Mix
- Taste Test
- Freeze for 24 hours
- Spin on light ice cream or the smoothie setting

Vegan Ninja Creami Banana Split Ice Cream

Ingredients
- ¾ cup mashed ripe bananas or white sweet potato puree
- ¾ cup mashed strawberries
- ¼ cup crushed pineapple and juice
- ¼ cup non-dairy milk as needed, to fill the container to the max line
- 1 tablespoon cocoa or cacao powder to taste – you might need less
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- Sweetener to taste optional use only if needed can use whole dates, date paste, or maple syrup
Instructions
- Mash and Mix: Start by mashing the bananas and strawberries together in the Ninja Creami pint. Add in the crushed pineapple (along with its juice), cocoa powder, and vanilla extract. Alternatively, blend it a small blender.
- Taste Test: Taste the mixture and add sweetener if needed. Sometimes, the fruits are sweet enough on their own!
- Freeze: Freeze the mixture for 24 hours. This allows the flavors to meld together beautifully.
- Spin: Once frozen, spin the mixture on the light ice cream setting of your Ninja Creami. If the texture is still powdery, add a few tablespoons of non-dairy milk and respin.
