1cupsplit peas
1/2cupdried navy beans
3bay leaves
1/2teaspoonliquid smoke
1/4 to 1/2cupnutritional yeastto taste
salt and pepperto taste
Instructions
Instant Pot Instructions:
Add the water, sweet potato, split peas, navy beans, bay leaves, and liquid smoke to your Instant Pot and cook on high pressure for 20 minutes. Let the pressure release naturally.
Stir in the nutritional yeast, salt and pepper. Taste and adjust as needed.
Slow Cooker Instructions:
Add the water, split peas, navy beans, bay leaves, and liquid smoke to your 3 1/2 to 5-quart slow cooker and cook on low for 7 to 9 hours.
