Carrot Ginger Turmeric Steamer (or Chiller) from Crave Eat Heal

I think of this as my anti-cancer drink because ginger, turmeric, and carrots all bring their own powerful properties to attacking rogue cells - especially in certain types of cancer such as melanoma, lung, stomach, bladder, colon, and prostate cancers. This recipe is from Crave Eat Heal by Ann Oliverio.

  • 4- inch piece of ginger root
  • 4- inch piece of turmeric root
  • 2 small carrots
  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • 10-12 drops of vanilla-flavored liquid stevia


  • Juice the ginger root, turmeric root, and carrots. Combine the juice with the coconut milk and the stevia. Heat gently on the stove or in a microwave. This is best warm rather than hot. Serve immediately.


Coconut milk brands vary widely in flavor. I prefer a brand with a strong coconut taste, but use your favorite, or use another non-dairy milk.
Go raw and drink this cold.
An easier method if you don’t have a juicer:
1/2 cup bottled carrot juice (make sure it’s 100% carrot juice)
2 cups coconut milk
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. ground turmeric
10-12 drops vanilla-flavored stevia liquid
