If it seems like you are wading through molasses just to get up in the morning, starting each day with a green smoothie might help. My blogger friend, Becky Striepe of Glue and Glitter, wrote just the book to get you through your next 40 days of green smoothies.

Each week in the book starts with a shopping list to make it easy for you. Then Becky follows up with your 7 recipes for the week. Using 40 Days of Green Smoothies is a great way to get out of a morning rut and have some veggies first thing. I’m trying it out for my own transition back into a healthy routine.

What a delicious sounding recipe! When I get my hands on some mangos and ginger, I should try this out. It probably wouldn’t be the same with powdered ginger, right? Do you know if it is good for those who might be sensitive to tastes? I’m trying to find recipes that my fiancé will like, and he is just starting to like more fruits and vegetables.
