Halloween is my favorite holiday of the year, and one of those reasons is all the fun food I get to cook. Here is a spooky meal plan to help you celebrate with some delicious meals to eat anytime or to serve at your Halloween dinner party.
Monday: A perfect autumn dish to start off the week, my Vegan Slow Cooker Curry Pot Pie Topped with Whole Wheat Biscuits just screams fall. Make it creepy for Halloween by using pumpkin or skull cookie cutters for the tiny biscuits.
Tuesday: Serve this Slow Cooker Vegan Bolognese over your favorite fresh whole grain or over pasta. Make it spooky by using dark pumpernickel toast cut out in cat and bat shapes or get some Halloween-themed pasta.
Wednesday: Vegan Sin-cinnati Chili looks especially spooky over spinach pasta. Cut out ghost shapes out a slice of vegan cheese and place on top for extra Halloween spirit!
Thursday: One Pot Veggie Vodka Sauce has all the ease you expect from a one-pot meal. The pasta cooks right in the creamy tomato sauce, which has the barest hint of vodka and mushrooms, carrots and eggplant. The post also has some photos from one from my Gothic Dinner Parties.
Friday: Your dinner guests will either laugh or scream when they see these Super-Scary Spicy Chili Stuffed Jack-O-Peppers. No matter whether they think they are scary or cute, everyone with agree that they are especially tasty.
Saturday: Vegan Butternut Squash Okra Gumbo with Brown Rice is a great meal at any time of the year. Serve with black forbidden rice to get into the Halloween spirit.
Sunday: Halloween dinner will be the spookiest ever with these Spooky Skull Vegan Pot Pies. You can make it in a molded skull pan or as a double crusted pie. Either way, it’s a delicious and delightful way to celebrate Halloween.
