iBookstore Ebook Giveaway!

Did you know that you can get The Great Vegan Bean Book in many different ebook formats? You can even ask your library to get it in ebook format too! (hint, hint…)

I’ve been buying ebook cookbooks for a few years now and love having my ipad set up in the kitchen. Cheryl got me this awesome device that hooks on the cabinet above the counter and holds it in place. Have you tried using ebook cookbooks? Do you like them?

This giveaway is only for the iBookstore and will only work on an ipad or iphone.

To enter the giveaway do one or more of the following:

  • Comment on the post telling me if you own an iphone or an ipad or both
  • Follow me on Pinterest (all boards or just The Great Vegan Bean Book board)
  • Request that your local library gets the ebook of The Great Vegan Bean Book – leave name of library, city and state in comment
  • 4th way to enter is tell me if your library has the paperback version and if not request they add it
  • You must post a new comment on this blog post for each entry for them all to count

Looking for an ebook in a different format? One of these should work on your reading device of choice and each one links to the bean book in their format.

Remember that the ebook is ready to download anytime of the day or night! There’s no need to put off those middle of the night cooking cravings.

Make sure to enter the Ecolissa giveaway too,
I’ll be drawing a name sometime next week,
so there’s still time to enter it too!

  1. Hi,
I do own an ipad because I was lucky enough to win one in a local give-away! I would love this book on my ipad. We all love beans…well except the hold-out..my eight year old. HOping this is his summer to get on board. Can you help?

  2. Beverly says:

Hi! I do own an iPhone and I have iPad fever ;)

  3. Karen from Nanaimo says:

Hi. I’ve been following your blog for a short time, coming from fatfreevegan. I have an iPad and an iPod Touch, which is almost everything but the phone. I would be lost without them. What are we going to do as the tech changes and our apps no longer work?

  4. I have an iPhone I have the hard copy of the book and would love to have a copy on my iPhone too for when I am on the go. Thanks,

  5. I have an iPhone. Use it all the time for recipes — much less clunky than a book on my counter. :)

  6. cynthia says:

I have both. Haven’t used the ipad in the kitchen yet, but it’s a great idea!

  7. I have an IPad with a nice collection of vegan cookbook. I am really looking forward to have yours!

  8. I am also following you on Pinterest.

My library does not have this book – yet – but since they have your slow cooker book, I think it’s only a matter of time. Nonetheless, I’ll see if I can accelerate the process!

  12. Allison says:

I have an iPhone. Thanks for the giveaway!

  13. BETSEY WRIGHT says:

I already gave a copy of The Great Vegan Bean Book to my library! I have an iPad!

  14. Linda Merle says:

Hi, no i-anything and not a single plan to buy either, ever. My netbook works just fine and performs many additional tasks. However I do have your ebook and love it. I may buy a hard copy since my netbook is rarely in the kitchen and my real computer (on which I do real work) is upstairs. So it’s even better for you. I also have a free program that converts ebooks from one format to another, so I’m not limited to format. Some times PDF is great because with Foxit reader I can add comments.

  15. Brandie says:

I have both an iPhone and iPad!! Would love a chance to win this book. I bought the vegan slow cooker book you wrote. Love my crockpot. And bc of you I have two crock’s. who knew you could make bread, pizza in them? Crazy good

  16. Erica C says:

  21. Of course I have both an Ipad and IPhone …. But honestly I prefer my recipe books in paper. Love beans… Have them often at hoe but sure could use some new ideas about making them. Thanks…

  22. I have an iPad and would love this book. The recipies look great and make my mouth water. Haven’t tried a ibook cookbook yet but would love to try this one out!

  23. I have an iPhone!

  24. I own both IPhone & IPad.

  26. Jerry Lieberman says:

own an iPad 2, an iPhone, checked my library for your, The Great Vegan Bean Book and since they do not have copies, requested that they obtain some (attached request form), am a subscriber to Pinterest, receive your email blog, enjoy your recipes and your commitment to healthy food and I have made some of your recipes for my own and occasionally friends enjoyment…Whew

  27. I have both an iPhone and an iPad, and I love having both. I don’t have much in the way of purchased ebook cookbooks, always seemed a bit sketchy to me… or maybe I’m just worried about destroying my iPad during my kitchen adventures. But I’d love to have a chance to give it a try. :-)

  28. Also, my library is *going* to have the cookbook. It’s listed on the site and I was able to put in a request for it, but it currently says “0 copies.” Hopefully within the next few weeks, it’ll show up.

  29. Laurie B says:

My local library cooperative has 2 copies of the book!

  30. Laurie B says:

  32. Just posted on Facebook!

  33. Just commented on your Facebook! Would love to win a copy!

  34. Sounds like an amazing book!

  35. I’ve got an iPhone and iPad. We almost exclusively use our devices to cook from, either from recipes from blogs or iBooks. Cookbooks are pretty to look through but I never seem to grab any off the shelf when I’m planning a meal.

  36. I follow you on Pinterest too!

  37. Also requested that it be added to the Nashville TN library!

  38. Oooooooooooooooo sounds fantastic! I have an ipad but I’m yet to try any cookbooks on it – though I definitely like the idea of that!
I’ve just started following your pinterest boards :-) Love pinterest!
